Hi! I’m Liz.

With 19 years combined teaching experience in ballet, Pilates, The GYROTONIC® Method, and GYROKINESIS® exercise, I believe deeply in the power of movement and intention to transform lives.

During my 12-year dance career with The Joffrey Ballet and Ballet Memphis, I performed and toured across North America. Like many dancers, I experienced injuries, mental health struggles, and chronic pain during much of my career, and after my third dance-related surgery in fewer than 10 years, I was forced to retire from full-time performance.

During recovery from surgery, when I was still on crutches, I was introduced to The GYROTONIC® Method. After my first Gyrotonic session, I was struck by what I felt: my body was beginning to heal itself, gently unwinding and releasing years of tension, pain, grief, and blocked energy.

Inspired by the profound results of that first session, my natural curiosity and love of learning led me to become a certified GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® trainer. Years later, I bring that same curious and passionate spirit to my teaching. Driven by my collaborative spirit and guided by my vast body of knowledge, I empower my clients to connect with themselves on a mental, physical, and energetic level. I believe deeply in the reciprocal relationship that exists between teacher and student – I know that when I embark on a healing journey with a client, I heal myself as well.

I have experience working with people of all gender identities, ages, and ability levels, including neurodivergent individuals and those who have experienced traumatic brain injuries. I specialize in working with performing artists and athletes at all stages of their careers, people with joint hypermobility conditions, and older adults.
